The cost of the course is $40.00 per student which will include a certification that is available for them to present to clients. While the general age range for the course is 11 to 16 years old, we allow up to 18 year olds to attend. This class is structured around much more than emergency situations, which are always an integral part of any childcare plan. The class also discusses how to prepare for childcare and babysitting jobs, pricing and advertising and many other aspects of business. We include preplanning and meeting with parents ahead to assure they are aware of any special needs, foods, etc. for the child. We also go over how to handle situations that may not always rise to the level of an emergency as well as how to determine if something is a true emergency. The class offers so much insight to handling everyday situations and best practices that protects the children and the caretaker. Please sign up through our website email soon as possible as May 3rd will be here before we know it and class size is limited.
